iShipping’s Small Upgrade That Makes a Big Difference

At iShipping, we’ve always aimed to make courier services smarter and more affordable for New Zealand businesses. But now, we’re adding a new layer to that mission: sustainability.

We’ve just completed a mini project—one that’s close to our hearts. We’re upgrading the free courier bags we’ve been supplying to our business customers. This time, we’ve gone all in on functionality, identity, and environmental responsibility.

🎨 1｜Color-Coded for Clarity

One of the most common requests we heard?

“It’s hard to tell courier bag sizes apart in a stack.”

So, we made a change. Every bag size now comes in a distinct color—designed to be clear, visible, and warehouse-friendly without being harsh on the eyes.

Truth be told, choosing colors was more emotional than expected. Two similar pinks looked totally different on actual bags than on screen. But we got there, and now, our customers can spot the right size at a glance.

The biggest upgrade?

Our bags are now made from EU-certified compostable materials.

Not just “eco-sounding”—these are industrially compostable, meaning they’ll break down under proper conditions, leaving no harmful residue.

New Zealand is pushing hard on reducing courier packaging waste, and we believe logistics providers should be part of the solution. This is our small, sincere step in that direction.
